ABOUT
The “LightForRugs” project has as a primary aim to develop innovative tapestries, integrating illumination and sensory systems that enable us to generate luminous effects on the surface of the rug. These rugs present themselves in a pioneering and innovative technology where all the light conducting filaments can change in colours and intensity. In order to respond to the proposed challenges concerning the project's execution, there has been I&D research into new materials such as, light conducting filaments, LED's, electroluminescent devices, functional movies, touch sensors and electronic devices.
